§ 1 Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the use of the look4U job finder platform (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”), accessible at www.job-finder.it, by registered users and visitors.
The Platform is operated by look4U Consulting Ltd., via Marie Curie 15, 39100 Bolzano (BZ), Italy.
Any differing terms and conditions of the user shall not apply unless expressly approved in writing by look4U.

§ 2 Description of Services

look4U job finder is an online platform that:

  1. allows companies to post job advertisements, and
  2. offers candidates (including specialists and executives) the opportunity to present themselves, apply for positions, and connect with companies.

A special feature of the Platform is that executives and other users can post an anonymised advertisement to which companies may respond. Companies can send a contact request through the Platform to get in touch with the executive.
This contact is always free of charge for the person posting the advertisement.
Likewise, candidates can contact companies at any time free of charge, both in response to posted job advertisements and by using the direct contact functions available on the Platform.
The Platform offers both free and paid services. The exact scope of services and prices are listed on the website.
look4U does not guarantee any specific success in recruitment or employment.

§ 3 Registration and User Account

  1. Full use of the Platform requires registration.
  2. Users must provide complete, up-to-date, and truthful information during registration.
  3. Login credentials must be kept confidential and may not be shared with third parties.
  4. look4U reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts in the event of a violation of these GTC.

§ 4 User Obligations

  1. Content must not be unlawful, discriminatory, offensive, pornographic, extremist, or otherwise inappropriate.
  2. Copyrights, trademarks, and personal rights of third parties must not be infringed.
  3. Companies may only post genuine and bona fide job advertisements for actual positions.
  4. Candidates and executives must provide truthful and complete information in advertisements and applications.
  5. In anonymised advertisements, it must be ensured that no conclusions can be drawn about third parties who have not consented to the publication.
  6. The use of automated systems for mass data retrieval (e.g., scraping) is prohibited.

§ 5 Contract Term and Termination

  1. For paid services, the purchased contract term applies.
  2. Ordinary termination is possible at the end of the agreed term in text form (e-mail is sufficient).
  3. The right to terminate without notice for good cause remains unaffected.
  4. look4U is entitled to delete content or suspend access if users violate these GTC.

§ 6 Intellectual Property

  1. All content, designs, texts, graphics, logos, and software components of the Platform are protected by copyright.
  2. Any use not expressly permitted, particularly reproduction, modification, or public distribution, is prohibited.
  3. Users retain the rights to their own uploaded content but grant look4U a simple, non-exclusive, unlimited right to use such content to the extent necessary for operating the Platform.

§ 7 Liability

  1. look4U provides only the technical platform and assumes no responsibility for the content posted by users, including anonymised advertisements.
  2. No guarantee is given for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of content.
  3. look4U is liable only in cases of intent or gross negligence, as well as for breaches of essential contractual obligations.
  4. Liability – except in cases of intent or gross negligence – is limited to foreseeable, typical damages.
  5. No liability is assumed for technical failures or interruptions not caused by look4U.

§ 8 Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

  1. Consumers within the meaning of the Italian Consumer Code have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
  2. The withdrawal period begins upon conclusion of the contract.
  3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, a clear declaration must be sent to look4U (e.g., by e-mail).
  4. The right of withdrawal expires prematurely if the contract has been fully performed by both parties before the consumer exercises this right.

§ 9 Data Protection

The collection and processing of personal data are carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the website, which forms an integral part of these GTC.

§ 10 Changes to the GTC

look4U reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. Changes will be communicated to users in good time via e-mail or notification on the Platform.
If the user does not object within 14 days of receiving the notice of amendment, the changes shall be deemed accepted.

§ Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction

  1. The law of the Italian Republic applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
  2. For merchants and legal entities, the place of jurisdiction is Bolzano, Italy.
